"Lord, on the day I called for help, you answered me." Psalm 138

Today, Thursday of the 1st week of Lent, Fr. Jim, the celbrant, built his homily around these beautiful words. He spoke about being co-redeemers with Christ. Fr. Jim shared that when we attend Mass, we offer the Mass not just for ourselves, but for those who can't or won't come.

I remember a few years ago after receiving the Most Blessed Sacrament, I was in deep prayer, knowing I had the living God in my soul. I was inspired by the Holy Sprit to start naming groups of people silently and pray that they might receive the infinite merits of the Mass and the Eucharist. I heard a voice within me say.... "Why have you not brought more?"
